The short version

If you send us a note, we use it to understand your inquiry and reply. We do not sell your information, add you to a marketing list, or pass your inquiry to a buyer, broker, or marketplace without your permission.

What we collect

The first form asks for your email address and whether you are considering a sale, looking to buy, or advising an owner. You may also choose to provide your name, phone number, state, industry, revenue range, timing, and a short note.

We also receive basic technical information needed to operate and protect the site, such as the page you visited, referral source, campaign tags, browser type, and bot detection results. We do not intentionally collect your precise location or financial statements through this website.

How we use it

• To review and respond to your inquiry.
• To protect the form from spam and abuse.
• To understand, in aggregate, how people find and use the site.
• To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.

Who processes it

The site is hosted by Vercel. Resend delivers the inquiry and acknowledgment emails. Your submission is sent to the Business Handoff operator’s email account. These providers process information under their own security and privacy terms.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous traffic measurements. It does not use cookies and is not configured to receive email addresses, names, phone numbers, or form notes.

Retention and deletion

Inquiry emails are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the conversation, keep appropriate business records, and meet legal obligations. To ask for access, correction, or deletion, use the inquiry form and write “privacy request” in the note. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.

Security

We use encrypted connections and reasonable technical safeguards. No internet service or email system can promise absolute security, so please do not send tax returns, account credentials, or other sensitive records through the initial form.

Changes

We may revise this notice as the service develops. The effective date above will change when the notice does.
